The short version

My Simple Voice processes everything on your device. Your audio never leaves your Mac. We don't collect your voice data, your transcriptions, or any usage analytics.

What we collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to process your purchase and deliver your license:

• • Email address — to deliver your license key
• • Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider (Polar). We never see your card details.

What we don't collect

• • Audio recordings or voice data
• • Transcription content
• • Usage analytics or telemetry
• • Browsing behaviour on our website

On-device processing

All speech recognition and text processing runs locally on your Mac using Apple's Neural Engine. The app works fully offline. No internet connection is required after initial setup and model download.

License validation

The app makes a brief, encrypted request to validate your license key during activation and periodically thereafter. This request contains only your license key — no personal data, audio, or transcription content is transmitted.

Updates

The app checks for updates via Sparkle, a standard macOS update framework. This check only sends your app version and macOS version — no personal data.
